Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
- NVQ Level 2 – Health and Social Care qualification.
- NVQ Level 3 – Health and Social Care qualification or training towards it.
- Full‑time availability of 36 hours per week.
- Willingness to work alternate weekends.
- Daytime shifts from 8am to 8pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide person‑centred care, ensuring residents receive personal care (bathing, dressing, oral care) respecting their preferences and promoting independence.
- Contribute to and carry out care reviews, ensuring care plans reflect residents’ needs.
- Administer residents’ medication safely, supportively and in compliance with regulations.
- Lead and participate in social activities, including trips out and engagements within the home.
- Support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development; may lead the home in the absence of senior managers.
