Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
  • NVQ Level 2 – Health and Social Care qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3 – Health and Social Care qualification or training towards it.
  • Full‑time availability of 36 hours per week.
  • Willingness to work alternate weekends.
  • Daytime shifts from 8am to 8pm.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person‑centred care, ensuring residents receive personal care (bathing, dressing, oral care) respecting their preferences and promoting independence.
  • Contribute to and carry out care reviews, ensuring care plans reflect residents’ needs.
  • Administer residents’ medication safely, supportively and in compliance with regulations.
  • Lead and participate in social activities, including trips out and engagements within the home.
  • Support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development; may lead the home in the absence of senior managers.
