Overview
Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals and deliver positive person‑centred outcomes for people with complex support needs who rely on our services?
You will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs.
Location
We are looking for Support Workers to work in our services across Rainham, Rochester and Gillingham in Kent.

Requirements
- A minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK
- 12 months of experience in support work
- A full, valid UK driver’s licence
Responsibilities
- Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
- Supporting activities of daily living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
- Communicating effectively using people’s chosen methods.
- Engaging – promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life.
- Specialising – supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches.
- Recording – keeping accurate records and reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management.
- Team player – working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
