We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and caring individual to join our team as a Live‐In Carer. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in someone's life, supporting them to live independently in the comfort of their own home.
Please note: This post is restricted to female applicants only as a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010. This is because the role involves providing personal care to women, where it is necessary to preserve their dignity and privacy.
Clients are located across the South West, South East, Central and North parts of England. You must be willing to travel to these locations.
Responsibilities
- Companionship – providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
- Personal care – helping with washing, bathing, showering, dressing and oral care.
- Meals – supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
- Domestic tasks – light cleaning tasks.
- Mobility – supporting the client to live as independently as possible.
- Social activities – trips out, social engagements and activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months of right to work.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 2 weeks at a time.
