Location: Care Home in Gloucestershire – Rodley House, Agincare.
Salary and Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Ensure residents understand their care and treatment choices, promoting choice, dignity and individuality.
- Review existing care provision to meet residents’ current physical and mental health needs, liaising with residents, staff, health professionals, social workers, and other parties to adapt plans.
- Carry out auditing to assess quality of the service and take rapid reparative action if concerns arise.
- Ensure effective risk assessments protect residents and overall safety of the home.
- Induct new staff and ensure ongoing training, motivation, supervision and support for existing staff.
- Carry out disciplinary or formative action against team members as required.
- Effectively staff the home to cover residents’ needs and maintain contingency plans for unexpected absences or events.
- Investigate complaints related to safeguarding, abuse, or service delivery, and ensure proper notification and duty of candour.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
- Management qualification at QCF level 4 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Previous registration in a residential service preferable.
- Demonstrable up‑to‑date knowledge of the care sector, including care home operation and regulatory framework.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Experience working with vulnerable client groups.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
