Responsibilities
- Menu planning – collaborate with the home manager and residents’ requests to develop and implement menu ideas, including themed days and events.
- Dietary needs – work closely with staff to ensure residents’ specific nutritional and dietary needs are met, including modified textures and allergies.
- Kitchen management – main point of contact for the kitchen, responsible for day‑to‑day stock management and hygiene standards.
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months valid right to work.
- Experience in kitchen operations and understanding of how to run a professional kitchen.
- Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or ability to support complex dietary requirements (desirable).
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
