Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK
  • Valid, in‑date NMC PIN without restrictions
  • Evidence of recent clinical CPD
  • Experience in a care home setting (preferred but not essential)

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care in line with individual care plans
  • Collaborate with care home management, families, social workers, medical professionals and residents to ensure care meets specific needs and recommend changes as required
  • Administer and record medication safely, following company policies
  • Monitor resident nutrition and hydration, updating nutrition plans when needed
  • Watch for risks related to pressure wounds and variations in bowel and bladder functions
  • Participate in and promote resident activities
