We are looking for a reliable, passionate, and organised individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant.
Where you'll be working: Nightingale Care Nursing Home, Derby.
Responsibilities:
- Support the chef to create healthy/balanced meals and snacks, ensuring understanding of dietary requirements and allergens.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, in line with COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols.
- Work as a team player, while able to work alone and manage your time effectively.
- Offer support, communication and engagement to the residents.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience in a kitchen setting is essential.
- Prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH.
- Availability to work part‑time: 16 hours per week (including alternative weekends) or 24 hours per week (including alternative weekends).
