Main duties of the job:
- Providing high-quality care and support to the residents of Critchill Court Care Home in Frome.
- Assisting with personal care, ensuring residents can live as independently as possible.
- Planning and participating in social activities.
- Overseeing medication administration.
- Holding line manager responsibilities for care and senior care assistants.
- In the absence of the Deputy and Registered Manager, having responsibility for the home.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
- At least two years experience in a social care environment.
- Qualified to at least QCF level 2.
A day in the life of a Care Team Leader includes:
- Providing companionship and engagement with residents.
- Supporting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and oral care.
- Ensuring residents can live as independently as possible.
- Planning and participating in trips out and social engagements.
- Supporting and overseeing medication administration.
- Ensuring all documentation relevant to those who use our service is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborating with other health and social care professionals.
- Holding line manager responsibilities and managing the home in the absence of senior management.
