Opportunities Available:
- Care Assistant working 42 hours per week from 8am to 8pm to include alternative weekends
- Care Assistant working 24 hours per week – Twilight working from 4pm to 10pm to include alternative weekends
- Night Care Assistant working 36 hours per week from 8pm to 8am to include alternative weekends
- Bank Care Assistant – for this role you are required to have the flexibility to work day shifts, night shifts and alternative weekends as and when required
Local areas close to Waterloo care home: Ringwood, Ferndown, Verwood, West Moors, Colehill and Parley.
What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
- Experience working within a care home
A day in the life of a Care Assistant:
- Companionship – Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
- Personal care – Supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care
- Medication – Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams
- Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages
- Domestic tasks – Light cleaning tasks
- Mobility – Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility
- Social activities – Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home
