Responsibilities
- Menu planning - collaborate with the home manager and residents to develop and implement menu ideas, including themed days and events.
- Understand dietary needs - work closely with staff to meet residents' specific nutritional and dietary requirements, including modified food textures and allergies.
- Kitchen management - act as the main contact for the kitchen, responsible for daily stock management and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months of right to work in the UK.
- Background in kitchen operations and knowledge of how to run a professional kitchen.
- Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable).
- Flexibility to work day and weekend shifts as needed.
- Local to areas close to Waterloo care home: Ringwood, Ferndown, Verwood, West Moors, Colehill, and Parley.
