What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
  • 24 hours per week, including working alternative weekends
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle to get to and from work (Tilford care home is situated in a remote location with no public transport routes)

A day in the life of a Housekeeper:

  • Communal cleaning – ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
  • Domestic tasks – dust, polish and vacuum residents’ bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
  • Collaboration – work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Companionship – Provide support, communication and engagement to residents.
