Senior Care Assistant – Henlow Court Care Home (Gloucestershire)
We are looking for an experienced care professional to join our dedicated support team at Henlow Court Care Home.
This role offers flexible shift patterns and the opportunity to work in a caring and supportive environment.
- Shift Details
- 36 hours per week, comprising a mix of 6- and 12-hour shifts.
- Requires working alternate weekends.
- Night shift position.
Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred care, including bathing, dressing, oral care and supporting residents in making choices.
- Contribute to and conduct care reviews to ensure plans reflect residents’ needs.
- Administer medications safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Lead and participate in social activities, trips out and engagement events.
- Support new starters or existing staff through shadowing and development; may act as lead when senior managers are unavailable.
Qualifications
- At least 12 months with the right to work in the UK.
- NVQ Level 2 – Health and Social Care qualification.
- NVQ Level 3 – Health and Social Care qualification, or actively working toward it.
