Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
- Background within kitchens and understanding of how to run a professional kitchen.
- Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or support complex dietary requirements is desirable.
- Must be flexible to work weekends and/or during the week between 7am‑4pm.
- At present, visa sponsorship is not offered.
- This is a bank contract.
Responsibilities
- A day in the life of a cook
- Menu planning – collaborate with the home manager and residents to develop and implement menu ideas, including themed days and events.
- Understanding dietary needs – work closely with staff to meet residents’ specific nutritional and dietary needs, including modified food textures and allergies.
- Kitchen management – main point of contact for kitchen, responsible for day‑to‑day running of stock management and hygiene standards.
