Overview
We are looking for support workers to join our 16‑bed supported living service, Elizabeth Court in Dorchester.
The service supports individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and complex needs, helping them live as independently as possible.
Responsibilities
- Encourage people to play active roles in their communities and promote independence.
- Support activities of daily living, including social activities, personal care, daily routines, meal planning, and budgeting.
- Communicate effectively using each individual's chosen method.
- Engage and motivate individuals to enhance their quality of life.
- Provide positive behavioural support when required.
- Record accurate details and report changes in health or circumstances to management.
- Work as a team player and use initiative.
Qualifications & Requirements
