What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
- Background within kitchens and understanding of how to run a professional kitchen.
- Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements is desirable.
- Previous role in a different catering environment is acceptable; formal experience in care not required.
- Some prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH.
Work hours:
- Full‑time role – 40 hours per week, including alternative weekends.
- Shifts to be covered: 7:30am to 5:30pm – four shifts per week.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the home manager and residents to develop and implement menu ideas, including themed days and events.
- Ensure residents’ specific nutritional and dietary needs are met, including modified food textures and allergies.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the kitchen, responsible for day‑to‑day stock management and hygiene standards.
- Work closely with wider staff to address individual resident nutritional requirements.
