About the Role

The Croft care home, located in The Penningtons, Chestnut Lane, Amersham, HP6 6EJ, is hiring a part‑time Housekeeper to work 24 hours per week, 8am to 4pm, three days a week, including alternate weekends.

Job Responsibilities

  • Clean communal areas to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Perform domestic tasks such as dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents’ bedrooms.
  • Use appropriate warning signs when required.
  • Collaborate with the home management team to meet hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Provide support, communication and engagement to residents.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 months right‑to‑work evidence.
  • Availability for 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
  • Experience in cleaning or care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
