What is required from you:

  • A minimum of 12 months’ right to work
  • Self‑motivated, organised individual with experience within an administrative function, ideally in the Health & Social Care industry
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills and a good level of IT competency
  • Full‑time position, 40 hours per week

A day in the life of an Administrator:

  • Answer the telephone, take and relay messages and direct calls to the appropriate person
  • Maintain the office diary, schedule appointments and meetings as required, and access the manager’s Outlook calendar
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and other professionals such as GP, DN, and others who may visit the home
  • Ensure residents are safeguarded against the risk of abuse, identify potential abuse and respond appropriately
  • Ensure all files are up to date and ready for auditing as required
  • Attend staff meetings as required to take minutes and disseminate information about the service and service development, peer support and exchange of ideas
