What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
  • Full UK Manual Drivers Licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Part time role working 28 hours per week to include alternative weekends
  • Previous experience required in organising activities or in an activities type role

A day in the life of an Activities Coordinator includes:

  • Companionship - providing support, companionship, communication and engagement with residents
  • Creating activities - you will be in charge of designing an engaging activities plan both internally and with external resources
  • Event planning - our Activities Coordinators are involved with planning events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for our residents
  • Resident interaction - you will always be in conversation with residents to see which activities they want to do and bringing them to fruition
  • External communications - as an Activities Coordinator you will be speaking with external entertainers or businesses to organise visits from entertainers or arranging for visits to businesses for the residents
  • Mobility - supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility through activities such as Zumba or ballroom or even things like balloon tennis
  • Social activities - trips out, social engagements and activities within the home for all abilities
