What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
  • Experience within the care sector is required for this role.

Opportunities available:

  • Care Assistant @ 42 hours per week to work from 8am to 8pm to include working alternative weekends. For non-drivers, a minibus collection and drop off service is available which covers Farnham, Linford, Bordon, Petersfield and Portsmouth train stations.
  • Bank Care Assistant with the flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts as and when required. For the bank role, you are required to have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle to get to and from work as Tilford care home is situated in a remote location with no public transport routes.

A day in the life of a Care Assistant includes:

  • Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
  • Personal care - Supporting with a wash, bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
  • Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
  • Meals - Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks - Light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
  • Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
