What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
- Flexible working with alternative weekends
A day in the life of a Senior Home Care Assistant:
- Health and Wellbeing: You will provide support, companionship, conversation and engagement with your clients.
- Personal care: You will support your clients with bathing, dressing and oral care.
- Meals and domestic tasks: You will help the client to prepare and eat healthy meals, snacks and beverages. You will assist in light cleaning tasks.
- Mobility: You will support the client with moving around their home to enable them to live as independently as possible.
- Social activities: You will encourage and support with trips out, social engagements and activities in the client's home.
- Medication: You will prompt, assist or administer medications and creams.
- Mentorship: As a senior care assistant you will support new staff in their induction period and mentor them.
- Spot checks: You will occasionally carry out spot checks and supervisions as directed by your Registered Manager.
