We are currently recruiting for a Day Center Transport Driver to join our day and supported living services for people with complex needs and learning disabilities. The role will be based in the Medway area of Kent.

What is required from you?
- A clean and currentdriving licence and PCV licence is essential
- A minimum of three years driving experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- Previous experience working adults with complex learning disabilitiesand health care needs, however let us know any personal experience, related background or qualifications as this experience is all relevant too
- The ability to work cooperativelyand professionallywith colleagues, service users and others
- A caring, patient and reliable nature

Encouraging– people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
Supporting – Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
Communicating– effectively communicate using people’s chosen methods
Engaging– promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
Specialising – supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
Recording– keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
Team player – Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
