As our Registered Manager for the Brighton & Hove Home Care Service, you’ll take the lead in creating a safe, responsive, and person‑centred service. You’ll guide and motivate your team, build strong relationships with clients and professionals, and ensure the highest standards of care and compliance. Every day, your leadership will directly influence the experience of the people we support.

What your role will involve:

  • Ensuring clients understand their care options and receive support that promotes dignity, choice, and independence.
  • Reviewing and adapting care plans to meet changing physical and mental health needs.
  • Working closely with clients, families, staff, health professionals, and social workers to deliver seamless, personalised care.
  • Leading on audits, quality checks, and rapid action plans to maintain high standards.
  • Ensuring robust risk assessments are in place to protect clients and staff.
  • Recruiting, training, supporting, and developing your team.
  • Managing performance and staffing levels to ensure safe, consistent service delivery.
  • Investigating safeguarding concerns or complaints and ensuring all required notifications are completed.

What you’ll bring:

  • At least 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK.
  • QCF Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Strong knowledge of home care, CQC requirements, and service management.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience supporting vulnerable people.
  • Previous registration in a home care service (desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
