What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
  • Multiple shifts available

A day in the life of a Senior Home Care Assistant:

  • Health and Wellbeing: You will provide support, companionship, conversation and engagement with your clients.
  • Personal care: You will support your clients with bathing, dressing and oral care.
  • Meals and domestic tasks: You will help the client to prepare and eat healthy meals, snacks and beverages. You will assist in light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility: You will support the client with moving around their home to enable them to live as independently as possible.
  • Social activities: You will encourage and support with trips out, social engagements and activities in the client's home.
  • Medication: You will prompt, assist or administer medications and creams.
  • Mentorship: As a senior care assistant you will support new staff in their induction period and mentor them.
  • Spot checks: You will occasionally carry out spot checks and supervisions as directed by your Registered Manager.
