Agincare is looking for a talented and fully qualified Senior Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a meaningful impact across a growing organisation. Working between our Poole and Portland offices, you'll provide high-quality financial analysis, support strategic decision-making, and oversee the delivery of management accounting activities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing the month-end process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Producing detailed variance analysis and clear explanations for performance movements.
  • Preparing monthly financial performance reports, KPIs, and ad-hoc analysis for senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior accounting staff, helping to develop capability and best practice.
  • Collaborating with department heads on budgeting and forecasting aligned to strategic goals.
  • Monitoring business costs and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal processes.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting continuous improvement across systems, processes, and reporting.

What we're looking for:

  • Fully qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
  • 3 years experience in management accounting.
  • Experience in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with financial systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Confident communicator able to present financial information to non-financial colleagues.
  • Highly organised, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A collaborative, professional approach and commitment to high standards.
