Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
  • At least two years' experience working in a social care environment
  • Qualified to at least QCF level 2
  • This is a full time role working 42 hours per week, including alternate weekends
  • Position working night shifts

Responsibilities

  • Companionship – Provide support, communication and engagement with residents.
  • Personal care – Support with a wash, bath or shower, dressing and oral care.
  • Mobility – Ensure residents can live as independently as possible.
  • Social activities – Plan and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
  • Medication – Support and oversee medication administration, including documentation.
  • Document management – Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaboration – Offer support and access to other health and social care professionals, and work collaboratively.
  • Management – Hold line manager responsibilities to care and senior care assistants, and when absent of Deputy and Registered Manager, hold responsibility for the home.
