The role would suit someone who enjoys working with high volumes of transactions, maintaining accuracy, and building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the Sales Ledger function, ensuring invoices are raised accurately, customer accounts are maintained efficiently, and financial records remain up to date. Key Responsibilities Raising and processing customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Maintaining and reconciling sales ledger accounts. Allocating customer payments and resolving any discrepancies. Producing customer statements and supporting account queries. Processing credit notes and invoice adjustments. Investigating and resolving invoicing disputes. Liaising with customers regarding billing enquiries. Supporting Credit Control activities where required. Assisting with month-end reporting and ledger reconciliations. Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation. Providing support to the wider finance team on an ad-hoc basis. About You Previous experience within a Sales Ledger, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Accounts Receivable role. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Good communication skills with the confidence to liaise with customers and colleagues. Competent user of Microsoft Excel and finance systems. Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines. A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving. Experience using Sage, Xero, SAP, Oracle or similar accounting systems would be advantageous. What's on Offer? Salary of £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
