Part-Time Payroll Administrator£30,000 Pro Rata | Three Days per Week

An established firm of Chartered Accountants is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join its team, working three days per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their workload, building relationships with clients and delivering an accurate, reliable payroll service.
The role
- Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a varied portfolio of clients
- Calculate statutory payments, pensions, deductions and holiday pay
- Manage starters, leavers, P45s and payroll amendments
- Complete RTI submissions and ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Deal professionally with payroll queries from clients and employees
- Maintain accurate payroll records and support year-end processes
- Liaise with HMRC and pension providers when required
About you
- Previous payroll experience gained within an accountancy practice or bureau environment
- Confident managing multiple client payrolls and competing deadlines
- Good working knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and statutory payments
- Accurate, organised and comfortable working independently
- Friendly and professional when communicating with clients
- Familiarity with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
The package
- £30,000 full-time equivalent salary
- Approximately £18,000 per annum for three days per week
- Permanent, part-time position
- Three days per week
