A newly created role with real ownership. Are you an experienced Accountant or Finance Manager who enjoys being hands-on, having variety and making things better? Are you a Finance Manager who enjoys making changes and embraces new technologies? Our client operates across a variety of sectors and as the business continues to grow, they are now investing in their finance function and looking for someone who can help shape the next stage.
What makes this role different? This isn't a role where you'll simply be processing numbers and producing reports. As Finance Manager you'll work closely with the Managing Director and wider management team, providing the financial insight they need to make better decisions. You'll have the freedom to review what's already in place, identify where things could work better and put your own ideas into practice.
- Management accounts and internal financial reporting
- Cash-flow forecasting and financial analysis
- Invoice processing using SAGE and DEXT
- Intercompany accounting and cross-charges
- Financial controls and process improvements
- Year-end support and management information
- Managing one part-time member of the finance team
- VAT returns and wider financial compliance as your role develops
