A leading residential property organisation is seeking an experienced HR Manager to deliver both strategic and operational HR support. Based in Lancaster, you'll work closely with senior leadership to shape people practices, drive organisational effectiveness, and ensure legal compliance.

What You'll Do

  • Advise and coach managers on employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and restructuring
  • Manage complex ER cases from start to finish, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes
  • Develop and maintain HR policies in line with UK employment law and ACAS guidelines
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and training coordination
  • Maintain HR systems, produce board-level reports, and support GDPR compliance
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, and IT, plus external providers

What You'll Bring

  • Strong UK employment law knowledge with hands-on ER case experience
  • Proven ability to manage disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and redundancy processes
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging at all levels
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Chartered or Associate CIPD membership essential

Hours: Mon–Thu 08:30–17:30 | Fri 08:30–15:30
