Our client, a reputable and growing company within their sector, is seeking a skilled and detail-focused Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. The Role:
Working within a busy finance department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end purchase ledger process. Key duties include:
Processing a high volume of supplier invoices efficiently and accurately
Matching, batching and coding invoices to POs
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely settlements
Maintaining up-to-date supplier records
Assisting with month-end duties and reporting as required
Ideal Candidate:
We\βre looking for someone who brings both experience and enthusiasm to the role. The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable position
Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, SAP) and Excel
A proactive attitude and ability to work well in a team
