Are you a hands-on Finance Manager ready to step into a dynamic role with real impact? I\’m seeking an experienced and confident professional to join my clients Accounts team on a short-term contract, providing vital support during a critical period. Based on the outskirts of Blackpool this role will be a pivotal part of the business.
What You\’ll Be Doing
In this all-encompassing role, you\’ll hit the ground running and take full ownership of our financial operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the production of accurate and timely management accounts
- Providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
- Overseeing daily finance operations and ensuring robust controls
- Managing and mentoring a small finance team (3 direct reports)
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Assisting with ad-hoc finance projects and reporting as needed
What We\’re Looking For
We need someone who\’s adaptable, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You\’ll bring:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role
- Strong expertise in management accounts and financial reporting
- A proactive and supportive people manager, with experience leading small teams
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred but not essential
