The Opportunity

Based at their Head near Blackburn, you\’ll be a key player in the financial analysis team, driving performance and supporting strategic decision‑making across the business. This isn\’t just number‑crunching – you\’ll be a trusted business partner, working directly with operational teams and divisional directors to unlock opportunities and deliver real impact.

What You\’ll Be Doing

• Drive Performance : Conduct monthly performance reviews, analyse variances against budget, and identify trends that matter
• Be a Business Partner : Work closely with operational teams to translate financial insights into actionable improvements
• Shape Investment Decisions : Lead investment appraisals and evaluate post‑investment performance
• Influence Strategy : Collaborate with senior leaders to develop budgets, forecasts, and long‑term plans
• Tell the Story : Prepare and present compelling financial reports that communicate performance clearly
• Ensure Excellence : Partner with IT to maintain data integrity across reporting systems
• Make an Impact : Take on ad‑hoc projects that challenge and develop your skills

What They\’re Looking For

• Graduate‑level education with strong academic credentials
• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA)
• Confident communicator who can translate complex financial data for non‑finance audiences
• Advanced IT skills with analytical flair
• Self‑starter who thrives under pressure and delivers to tight deadlines
• Problem‑solver with a practical, down‑to‑earth approach
