Are you a detail-driven, number-loving finance professional looking for an exciting role in a dynamic manufacturing company? We're searching for an Accounts Assistant to support my clients finance team with purchase ledger and credit control duties. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love keeping things running smoothly, this is the job for you!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Purchase Ledger: Processing supplier invoices and ensuring accuracy, matching invoices with purchase orders and resolving discrepancies, preparing supplier payment runs, handling supplier queries efficiently.
  • Credit Control: Chasing outstanding payments and managing debtor accounts, building strong relationships with customers to ensure timely payments, reconciling accounts and resolving payment issues, producing aged debt reports and assisting with credit risk management.
  • General Accounts Support: Assisting with month-end processes, bank reconciliations and maintaining financial records, supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in accounts payable & credit control.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
