We are currently seeking to appoint a Trainee Accountant in a practice with 25 employees in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The company offers a comprehensive study package, including a full 9 weeks paid study leave per year to obtain the ACA qualification.

Trainee Accountant Duties:

  • Corporate tax compliance work, including preparation of tax computations, tax returns, and calculation of liabilities, as well as VAT returns.
  • Develop an understanding of delivering high-quality services to clients.
  • Work will be a mix of in-office tasks and client site assignments, involving both team collaboration and individual projects.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Achieved 2:1 or above in Maths, Business, Accountancy & Finance, or Economics.
  • Possess an analytical and methodical approach, applying common sense and technical skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, capable of working independently.
  • Good team player.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.

Salary: £18,000 with full ACA study support, including 10 weeks paid study leave, 28 days holiday including bank holidays, and free onsite parking.
