Senior Credit Controller

My client in Manchester is looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their team, to help manage a team of 4 controllers. You will be assisting the Collections Manager in setting targets and initiatives as well as driving the right behaviour by setting an example in collecting outstanding monies.

Responsibilities

1. Assisting the Collections Manager in reviewing the existing systems and making suggestions to develop them
2. Identifying any aged debt which needs attention
3. Preparation of documents to take legal action against bad debtors
4. Assisting with staff training and the preparation of monthly reports

You will ideally have a legal background; however, this is by no means essential. They are looking for a professional controller with excellent attention to detail who has the ability to work without supervision and is comfortable taking the lead and dealing with complex cases.
