Our client is a market leading business with a multi-million pound turnover. Based in Blackpool, you will report into the Finance Manager and gain exposure to all aspects of accounts within a fast moving, highly progressive and changing company. Due to a recent restructure, a new position has become available for someone to join the team. Staff retention rates are high and the current Finance Manager has a proven track record in staff development and enhancement.
Role:
- Assisting with monthly management accounts
- Bank Reconciliations
- VAT Returns
- Assist in the preparation of tax packs to enable the completion of the yearend tax computations
- Preparation of the monthly payroll process for the company
- To ensure processes and controls are adhered to and introduce efficiencies into the financial reporting process
- Prepare any other adhoc reports/projects as required
Experience:
- Ideally AAT qualified or qualified by experience
- Pro-active approach and commercially focused, strong communication skills
- Confident with Excel (Look UPS / Pivot Tables)
