Senior Accountant

A highly regarded Accountancy Firm in Carlisle requires a Client Manager/Accounts Senior to join their successful team. This is a firm who retains and develops staff and always endeavours to promote from within the firm.

As Accounts Senior, the successful candidate will join a strong team where you will be involved in a broad range of services to include accounts preparation for a broad range of limited companies, corporation tax computations together with further duties commensurate with experience. This is an excellent opportunity to consolidate and develop your skills whilst being involved in direct contact with your client. Supervising junior staff, you will also be responsible for reviewing their work and mentoring and developing their skill base

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years experience gained within a firm of accountants, possess excellent communication skills in order to build successful and long-term relationships with clients. You will also ideally be ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience with some professional exams such as AAT. Experience of Xero, Sage and Quickbooks would be highly beneficial.
