My client is currently looking for a Payroll Administrator in the Bury area, which is situated near Rochdale, Haslingden, and Bolton. This role will be working for a nationally recognised organisation. This opportunity would be full-time, working 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities within this role include:
- Monthly production and full maintenance of own payroll groups
- Provide a readily available point of contact for associates and other appropriate bodies
- Provide cover/assist with routine system processing
- Assist with projects when required
- Distribution of final & payment run reports & manage returns
- Assist with cash book reconciliation & non-compliance reporting
Minimum Requirements:
- The ability to re-calculate overpayments and manual payments
- Possesses a good level of technical skills (Word/Excel/and Payroll systems)
- Highly numerate with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues
- Confident telephone skills with a customer service approach
