Our Client has an opportunity for a Management Accountant / Finance Manager to join their successful and fast-growing team. You will be based in Manchester City Centre. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £44,000 per annum plus benefits.

About the role:
As a Finance Manager, you will be joining an organisation that recognises the value that strong financial acumen can bring. You will be an active business partner with Directors and Managers in the operational teams, in this highly business focussed role. You will provide financial support, analysis, and guidance actively challenging financial and business assumptions and plans, acting as a strong sounding board for all finance-related decisions.

Skills and experience required to be our Finance Manager:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude
- Experience in effectively resolving problems
Key duties and responsibilities of our Finance Manager:
- Monthly and ad hoc accurate management information reports and management of month-end procedures
- Provision of finance support service to operations, with line management responsibility
- Preparation, analysis, and reporting of all financial data relating to Operations
- Regular reporting to Group of savings achieved through business projects
- Monthly variance analysis including recoveries
- Determination of, analysis, and reporting of key drivers for operations
- Produce annual budgets and rolling forecasts quarterly
- Drive clear understanding of operational performance through regular meetings with operational managers
