An exciting opportunity has arisen for a leading East Lancashire business, who due to continued year on year growth are now looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller.
Reporting to the MD this post will suit an ambitious newly qualified accountant you will benefit from the experience of a fast paced, highly change driven environment.
A summary of duties will include :
- Delivering the consolidation and reporting excellence
- Ensuring that monthly and periodic reporting is complete, accurate and conforms to applicable accounting standards under the strictest of financial controls.
- External reporting encompasses Annual / Quarterly consolidations as well as reporting to key stakeholders and certain regulatory filings.
- Process improvement and development across all accounting, cash collection and reporting functions, leveraging functionality from the accounting platform.
- Development of strong commercial partnerships across the events management and commercial teams.
The succesful candidate will be able to demonstrate advanced excel skills as well as strong communication skills.
