Graduate Trainee Accountant (ACCA)

We are working with one of the largest private accounting firms in the UK who are looking for bright grads to join this year\’s class. You will get to work in a well-respected and established firm that works with a range of high-value companies and clients.

They are currently looking for a Graduate Trainee Accountant to join their team; this would be an excellent opportunity to further your career allowing you to become a qualified accountant as they provide study support (CIMA/ACCA).

The responsibilities will include:

1. Preparation of monthly management accounts.
2. Cashflow analysis.
3. Adhoc reporting.
4. Month end accounting support to the Financial Controller.
5. Provide detailed analysis with commentary as needed to show profitability.
6. Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
7. Develop methods to gain a greater understanding of the figures in a timely manner.

What are we looking for?

1. Degree in a numeric related subject i.e. Accountancy and Finance, Maths or Economics (min 2:1).
2. A high level of analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
3. Desire to complete accounting qualifications.
4. Excel including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
