Description
My client based in Hull are looking for a Graduate Insolvency Trainee to join their reputable business. Your main duties will be to carry out insolvency tasks whilst assisting senior staff leading to responsibility for a small and varied case-load.
You will develop your insolvency and accountancy knowledge through both on-the-job experience and study. A full training package, leading to professional insolvency qualifications will be provided.
Responsibilities are as follows:
- You will be responsible to a designated senior team member and ultimately to the team Manager Conducting initial company searches
- Processing VAT returns
- Updating creditor and shareholder details
- Processing company information on the case administration system
- Generating standard letters using checklists
- Preparing inventories on books and records
- Assisting other members of the team with ad hoc case related duties
What are we looking for?
- Strong A-Levels and a degree in Accountancy and Finance, Business, Maths or Economics (min 2:1)
- A high level of analytical and numerical problem solving skills.
