Salary: £60,000 per annum, depending on experience

We are partnering with a well-established business in Blackburn to find their next Financial Manager. This pivotal role reports directly to the Managing Director and includes overseeing two direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Monthly cash flow forecasting and cash management
  • Budgeting and budgetary control
  • Authorising purchase payments, including international transactions
  • Managing credit control processes
  • Daily management and reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Completing quarterly VAT returns (MTD)
  • Calculating and monitoring capital expenditure
  • Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Overseeing monthly salaries and pension contributions
  • Managing and valuing bi-annual stock takes
  • Producing monthly stock and cost of sales reports
  • Serving as the primary contact for banks, brokers, and auditors
  • Standard costing
  • Understanding of pension regulations
  • Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and Word
