This is an opportunity to work with a worldwide recognised institution within a senior leadership capacity, alongside a highly skilled workforce of talent from across the globe. The Finance Director will be responsible for the financial strategy within a business-critical position.
Key Duties of the Finance Director
- Lead on the transformation project for the finance division, implementing unprecedented change across an organisation of over 30 million turnover and 150 staff.
- Carry out business as usual finance for a complex organisation and key contributor to the local social and cultural economy as a major employer within the area.
- Play a critical role in the strategic development and management of the organisation and be responsible for the financial management and organisational performance.
- Report to the Vice-Chancellor and be a key member of the University Executive Team Board.
- Handle complex and unique organisations, demonstrating success operating in a similar environment with multiple stakeholders, a track record of change management experience at the highest level, and proven strategic and operational leadership ability.
Key Skills and Qualifications of the Finance Director
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA qualified
- Experience in a leading finance role
- Knowledge of complex organisation structures
