Conveyancer – Residential Property
Location: Preston / Blackburn – Office-based with remote/hybrid options
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Agility is partnering with a dynamic and client-focused law firm, regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). This rapidly growing property-focused group includes well-known high street brands, offering a range of legal services across various sectors.
The Role
We\’re looking for a skilled Conveyancer to join the team, managing a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion. You will work autonomously, handling cases independently, while benefiting from comprehensive administrative and compliance support. The role offers flexibility, with the option to work from either the Preston or Blackburn office, as well as the ability to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a full caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
Handle re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and right-to-buy transactions
Draft contracts, reports, transfer deeds, and completion statements
Review title documents, raise and respond to enquiries
Order searches and review results
Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
Ensure compliance with SRA, CQS protocols, AML procedures, and regulatory requirements
What We\’re Looking For
At least 2 years of experience in residential conveyancing (as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive)
Proven ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
A proactive, solution-oriented approach and excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
Experience with case management systems and digital processes
A team player eager to grow with an ambitious and supportive firm
