  • Hours: 08:30 to 17:00, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

My client has an exciting opportunity has arisen at one of the UK\’s fasted growing companies. Due to significant growth, they are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join the expanding team based in Runcorn.

You will be joining a high volume; fast-paced Systems team and you will be responsible for providing BI reports and assisting with systems administration. This is a busy, very friendly and sociable company to work. This role would suit a candidate with a minimum of 12 months experience with a similar role with good knowledge of Cognos (or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

Duties Include:

  • Production of business and customer analytics including reports and dashboards
  • Wrangling data using our data science software to build informative data sets
  • Working with different functions to develop KPI\’s and integrate them into our workstreams
  • Support the production of corporate reports that are essential for our executives in executing critical business decisions
  • General System administration
  • Any other ad-hoc duties

Person Specification:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in BI / Data reporting role
  • Experienced in using Cognos (desirable yet not essential) or similar BI tool
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Degree in Mathematics / Statistics / Data engineering / Systems or another numerical related subject
  • Ability to work in a changing and flexible organisation
  • High attention to detail
  • Organised and efficient
  • UK Driving Licence
