Leading manufacturing company is looking to recruit an AAT Qualified Accountant to join their fast-growing Accounts Department. Reporting to an ex-Big 4 Finance Director, this role will provide the successful candidate with a great stepping stone to develop their career and pursue further qualifications.
Duties will include:
- Responsible for the accounts function for the business
- Production of month management accounts
- Cash flow forecasting
- VAT preparation – noting that VAT has significant implications due to trade with different countries, some of which are VAT exempt or have varying rates
- Purchase and sales ledger reconciliations
- Ad hoc project work to support the finance team
The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills, including strong Excel skills (Pivots/Look Ups) and proficiency in SAGE. Strong communication skills are also a prerequisite, as you will be liaising with non-finance stakeholders in the business.
