We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Apparel Designer to lead the execution of our performance-driven collections. You will bridge the gap between creative design and mass production, ensuring every garment meets our rigorous standards for fit, durability, and athletic functionality. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of body mapping, textile compression, and advanced construction techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Development: Lead the creation of our performance wear collection, including tech packs, detailed construction, and Bill of Materials.
  • Fit Leadership: Analyze fit intent and provide clear, actionable feedback to overseas and domestic factories to achieve the perfect fit.
  • Gear & Apparel Integration: Partner directly with Gear Designers to develop "Integrated Systems." Ensure apparel features align perfectly with gear contact points to eliminate chafing, optimize access, and enhance load-carrying stability.
  • Systemic Fit Architecture: Develop fit blocks that account for layering systems—ensuring that base, mid, and outer layers work in harmony without restricting the range of motion when worn with technical equipment.
  • Innovation & R&D: Drive the use of smart construction, textile, and features to create new, innovative apparel.
  • Creative Technical Problem Solving: Act as a Design Engineer to find creative solutions for functional needs.
  • Wear Testing: Collaborate with the product testing team to analyze feedback from soldiers and integrate technical adjustments to improve garment longevity and comfort.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the technical point of contact for Design, Product Development, and Sourcing to ensure the apparel line aligns with both aesthetic goals and margin targets.
  • Problem Solver: You can troubleshoot complex construction hurdles under tight production timelines.
  • Design for Manufacturing: Collaborate with sourcing and production teams to ensure all creative and integrated gear concepts are optimized for development.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Experience: 7–10+ years in design, specifically within the performance, activewear, or compression markets.
  • Technical Savvy: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, experience in CLO 3D or Browzwear.
  • Material Knowledge: Expert knowledge of both synthetic polymers and performance naturals, Deep technical understanding of chemical and physical treatments.
  • Education: Degree in Fashion Design.
  • Location: EU based.
  • Full-time position.
