We are now looking for a highly motivated and tenacious Sales Associate to execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Agilisys Transform in the public sector.

THE ROLE
Key responsibilities
The Account Executive is a vital role within Agilisys and will be responsible for driving sales efforts for Agilisys Transform in the public sector, specifically targeting Local Government. We are looking for a high energy, inspirational, motivated self-starter, used to working with short, medium and long sales cycles and managing sales through a statutory process. We want someone who can nurture and lead customer relationships that range from CIO to architects and service practitioners. You will identify, drive and close opportunities within your agreed market area, working closely with pre-sales and delivery teams. Responsible for selling the complete Agilisys Transform software solution portfolio. You will be carefully managing all forecasting and account/opportunity detail within SalesForce.
Further responsibilities include:
- Executing a comprehensive sales strategy for Agilisys Transform in the public sector.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers within Local Government.
- Positioning Agilisys Transform as a trusted partner for Generative AI solutions in the public sector.
- Collaborating with the Marketing team to refine messaging and collateral for the public sector audience.
- Collaborating with Agilisys Transform development team to articulate customer feedback and perception of tools.

Specific duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public sector, with a focus on SaaS products.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements and product offerings.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
- Skilfully manage business stage handovers, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities and market trends.

- Experience in selling software or technology products.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the Local Government landscape and decision-making processes in the UK.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
- Self-starter, ability to work autonomously.
- Will be expected to be in the London office a minimum of four days per week, with occasional travel to regional UK locations.
