Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a fast-growing finance team, based in Mid-Suffolk.
You will support a fast-paced, high volume credit control function.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and outstanding debt
- Proactively chase overdue payments by phone and email
- Allocate payments and maintain accurate account records
- Resolve invoice and payment queries promptly
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Monitor aged debt and minimise outstanding balances
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Support wider finance and month-end activities as required
Key skills:
- Previous credit control experience
- Confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Comfortable working to targets and deadlines
- Good Excel and finance systems knowledge
